There is so much to see and do in the lake district - below are some of the local attractions in the area - I also have a selection of walking material for your use.Leisure Club
The local leisure club is only 5 minutes walk away. Relax in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and head to the gym if you have the urge to exercise. Spoil your self with a treatment in the beauty salon (we can book this for you).
Horse Riding
See the beauty of the lakeland fells from horse back - www.lakes-riding.co.uk - only a few minutes drive away.
Tennis

* Fell Foot Park - take a small boat across from the steamboat terminal at Lakeside to the Park, and enjoy a relaxing day by the side of the lake or take a rowing boat out - depending how energetic you feel!! www.nationaltrust.org.uk
* Holker Hall - 8 mins drive away - enjoy the award winning gardens, the Motor museum and the hall itself, now housing a gift shop and food hall. www.holker-hall.co.uk
* Cartmel Village, Priory and Races - 5 mins drive - The Priory is the focal point of Cartmel, a quaint little village - well worth a visit, famous for its 'Sticky toffee pudding' (made just outside the village). * Grange-Over-Sands - A Seaside town - they hold an annual Edwardian festival in june
